Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager/Coordinator, this position is responsible for assisting with both facility supervision and facility operations maintenance which will include:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Opening and closing of the facility
  • Assist with loading of equipment on loading dock
  • Set-up and take down of tables, chairs and program equipment
  • General cleaning of lobbies, auditorium and backstage which will include mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, garbage pick-up and when applicable, clearing entrance ways/exits from snow
  • Experience in facility maintenance preferred
  • Completing daily facility and safety check lists
  • Communicating effectively with permit holders and general public
Education and Experience

Minimum age 16

Standard First Aid, CPR


Required Skills/Knowledge

Must be a least 16 years of age

You must possess a current Standard First Aid, CPR & AED certification

Good communication, customer service and problem-solving skills

Demonstration of Richmond Hill’s corporate values of care, collaboration, courage and service

Ability to enforce rules and regulationsValid Glass G Driver’s License would be considered an asset

Provide a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check

Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
