Position Summary
Reporting to the Recreation Assistant and Skating Coordinator you will ensure a safe, enjoyable skating experience to skaters during scheduled recreational skate times.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and enjoyable skating environment.
- Respond to First Aid emergencies in accordance to your First Aid Certification.
- Complete all necessary forms (accident, incident reports) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond to customer service inquiries.
- Represent the City of Richmond Hill by presenting yourself in a cooperative, organized, enthusiastic and well groomed manner.
- Know and understand the policies and procedures of the Community Services Department.
- Maintain all current certifications and send updated copies to the Recreation Assistant.
- Participate in all mandatory staff trainings and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Minimum age of 15 years
- Standard First Aid and CPR – C.
- Complete all corporate trainings/certifications as required

- Solid ice skating background.

- Ability to provide First Aid at the Emergency First Aid Standard.
- Must be able work in a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
